In recognition of Recovery Month this September, we’re hosting a free virtual event on September 1, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to Noon to highlight the value of Recovery Friendly Workplaces. This event is open to anyone interested in learning more about why employers pursue the Recovery Friendly Workplace designation, what they have gained from the process, and how they are creating supportive workplace environments. Featured speakers will include Alycia Norton, Director of Business Development at Winninger Fire Protection; Eric Horwood, Probation Services Supervisor at 8th District Court; Laura Stoken, President and Partner at Rathbun Insurance; and Navneet Strickland, Pain Management Nurse Practitioner at Henry Ford Hospital St. John.
