Recovery Friendly Workplace

The Program Managers are responsible for managing the overall operations of the initiative, working with the Advisory Council and MI RFW Taskforce, coordinating efforts with the Recovery Community Organization (RCO) Coordinator, and developing new opportunities and connections to support employers and the community. They can assist in the coordination of trainings within your organization to help develop your supportive environment. The Recovery Community Organization (RCO) Coordinator oversees the RFW Designation process, coordinating trainings with Recovery Friendly Advisors and Recovery Community Organizations.

Recovery Friendly Advisors (RFAs) are collaborators of the RFW Initiative, whose role is to be a resource to businesses and organizations that wish to become designated as Recovery Friendly Workplaces. They serve as a “concierge to the community” and sounding board, provide trainings, helping businesses get connected to the tools and resources they need to support employee recovery and implement an RFW culture.

The Advisory Council is a group of diverse business leaders and content experts who provide valuable oversight and guidance for this initiative.
