Passenger Recovery is proud to announce its official designation as a Recovery Friendly Workplace (RFW), demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering a supportive, educated, and inclusive environment for employees who are in recovery from Substance Use Disorder.
Passenger Recovery’s leadership recognizes that creating a workplace that understands and supports recovery strengthens not only individuals but the entire organization. By achieving RFW certification, Passenger Recovery joins a growing movement of businesses dedicated to reducing stigma, offering education on recovery, and improving the work environment for everyone.

“It was important to become an RFW in order for Passenger Recovery to attempt to provide people in the workplace with additional education on recovery, and improve the greater workplace for people on all sides of recovery,” said Christopher Tait, founder of Passenger Recovery.
“As a touring musician in recovery, I often find myself in work spaces that are counterintuitive to my change in lifestyle. Beyond that, it can be difficult to connect or convey my struggles with co-workers. We don’t know how to support each other without guidance, and the RFW initiative has the ability to bridge that gap, provide information, and improve the workplace experience for everyone involved.”
Passenger Recovery’s designation highlights the organization’s belief that recovery is possible and worth supporting at every level. By providing education, resources, and a welcoming culture, the organization hopes to serve as a model for others.
Passenger Recovery encourages other businesses, organizations, and creative spaces to consider becoming Recovery Friendly Workplaces. By doing so, they can contribute to a healthier, more understanding, and more productive environment for all employees.
